About this Session

If you're looking for a mentor, and you're just not sure about how this all works – this one is for you. In a casual, informal introductory call, a mentor will introduce themselves, show you around the platform, explain how our mentorships work, and explain how they would set up a mentorship with you.

This session is perfect if you're looking for a long-term mentor, but you're just not sure how this can work – or if you already set eyes on a specific mentor, and want to get to know them beforehand.

In this introductory call of about 30 mins, I will provide you with a preliminary overview of what you can expect from me as a mentor, specific to your unique personal situation. Do note that this call is NOT meant to be a detailed mentoring session (hence, introductory). We will get to understand what you are looking for from a mentor and how to make arrangements on MentorCruise.

Having taught close to 60,000 students worldwide VFX compositing and creation, I noticed that some students tend to prefer more 1-on-1 time with me. Of course, I cannot provide that to all 60,000 students hence, I am here as your personalized 1-on-1 mentor and would be more than happy to leverage my 6 years of experience working in the Hollywood film industry in seeing if my mentoring style meets your needs.

Introductory calls will be conducted over Discord. The call will be an opportunity for you to find out if I am the right mentor for you and to get a rough idea of your goals in a 1-on-1 mentorship.
