Interview Preparation, Single Session with John

John is so talented at what he does. This is my second review of my experience under John's mentorship and would write many more if I could. John took me under his wing after completing bootcamp at Georgia Tech and introduced me to amazing companies that I worked with. He is patient and kind and gives practical advice that is tailored to your personal goals. My time with John was invaluable to my career trajectory and gave me the confidence and support I needed to get to where I am today. I would highly recommend John as a mentor many times over!

John has been my mentor since I just started my journey. I don't have the language ability to express my gratitude to him. Undoubtedly, John is the BEST mentor. There's 2 reasons: 1. He's extremely resourceful & knowledgeable. Whenever you have any questions, he would answer like having prepared for long time. He often has tons of resources, like Doraemon with a universe in his pocket. 2. He's the most empathetic mentor I have ever seen. Sometimes you not only need an experienced mentor who can provide accurate, professional feedback, but also give you support when encountering setbacks. He's warm, kind, supportive. With his constant encouragement, I gained the courage and confidence to face frustration. I believe you would never regret to choose him as your mentor, since these characteristics are very rare.

John is a FANTASTIC mentor and person. I was so lost trying to navigate my transition, and I wish I had found him Johnier. He is an exceptional mentor who excels in communication and truly listens. He always provides detailed feedback that helps me look at things differently. John is always responsive and supportive, and he is always quick to respond to my emails, providing resources that are always useful, organized, and very detailed. I highly recommend him as a mentor.

John has been nothing but outstanding during our mentorship ever since the trial period began. We are now almost at our 3rd month of mentorship and he's provided me with SOLID guidance on how to source projects and provided many templates. I am 100% certain my progress has been as pain-free as it can get because I've had a mentor like John guiding me on the way.

John is an outstanding mentor! I have had the pleasure of being mentored by John over the past 5 months and I have nothing but amazing things to say about my experience. If you are looking for someone who has top-level knowledge, is always responsive, and understands your individual needs as a mentee John is the one. As with any mentorship you need to be ready to make the most of your time together and if you are ready to put the work in, John will match your effort and then some. I hope many more mentees have the ability to learn and work with John, it is an invaluable experience and has undoubtedly been one of the best decisions I have made during my career transition.
