Hello there! I am a Data Scientist at Learning Collider, previously Tech Lead at the University of Chicago Urban Labs. I have always been passionate about leveraging technology to solve human problems, and have many years of experience in hiring for data teams, and extensive programming and statistical knowledge.
I believe strongly in interdisciplinary collaboration and learning, which is something I try to foster in my teams. I personally have an interdisciplinary background - receiving my undergraduate training in Psychology and New Media, followed by Linguistics and Computer Science in graduate school. I have been at different times of my life an interaction designer, a mental health professional, and a data engineer.
I enjoy supporting individuals who are looking to break into tech and data science, regardless of their background. In my sessions, I will bring the resources and best practices I've personally used during my career, and tailor them to your specific needs. In this new world of GenAI and Large Language Models, I can also guide you in creating your first Gen-AI powered project, and use models like GPT more effectively in your work and daily life.
Looking forward to connecting and meeting!
